Paintballing in Berkshire

Paintballing in the Berkshire has never been more popular. The many venues on offer to the County prove that the sport is becoming increasingly visited by people who live throughout Berkshire. The paintball centres are also popular to people who visit the towns in the county, such as Reading, Windsor and Sandhurst. As Berkshire is close to London, Surrey, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, the choice of paintball centres that are based in neighbouring Counties is vastly increased. You can find many of the UK’s best places to play in these regions.

All of the paintball sites that we have selected are all UKPSF approved, which means you can be sure that the centre you choose will have a fantastic safety record and use industry leading paintball markers. The weapons are regularly maintained, ensuring less time cleaning a blocked barrel, and more time firing at the incoming enemies. The sites we have chosen have all been scored on specific criteria, like customer service and professionalism, quality of venue and equipment, safety, variety of arenas and overall day experience.

Paintball Hints and Tactics Article!

So, your team has done poorly at some recent events. This is understandable; a team that has a stronger sponsorship portfolio and a long record of success picked up your best player. Then another strong paintball  player found out he was about to be a father. Hey, you can’t argue with his commitment to his family. The paintball business is undergoing a bit of a squeeze right now, which means that the store that has sponsored your team for the last couple years is going out of business. Without that paint deal, the team is having a hard time getting players to commit to playing regularly. A few more players take some time off. Training days are becoming lonely. New players from Berkshire are hard to attract to a team with a reputation for losing and no real sponsor support. The players left from the good old days can’t afford to take these trips without assistance on paint and entry. To be honest, a few months ago a couple of these guys would have been warming up the bench most of the time anyway. At his point the most appealing option for remaining Berkshire players is probably to jump ship and find another team to play for. Regardless of individual talent, perceived skill is important to finding a paintballing team to play for. At the sub-semi pro level, where most players are, formal coaching and try-outs are rare – reputation is key to finding a new home. But there is another option for those who are either too stubborn to find a new team or those who do not enjoy enough prestige among other teams to move on. Bringing a team back from the edge of the abyss in Berkshire is a task that will probably take several seasons. It will involve frustration and few rewards. There will be derision. The level of commitment to paintball required is unreasonable; in fact this route only appeals to the insanely proud, the ferociously stubborn and the hopelessly desperate. But that’s not to say it’s impossible.
