Paintball Hints and Tactics Article!

Motivation in Paintballing! I know I am never going to be the best player in Northumberland , I go out to try to be the best I can be every time I step on the field. That is how I keep on going, the constant desire to better myself. Once you have lost the will to become better, you have already lost. When you get to the point where you don’t really care if you win or lose or you aren’t sick that you didn’t get the trophy or you don’t care that you screwed up a drill or a move at practice, then just stop playing. That is the time where you are not only fooling yourself but you are hurting those who you have called brothers, friends and most importantly, Paintball team mates. The paintballing work, practices, bruises, losses and victories have all been worth it; I have zero regrets. I have had to keep myself motivated for 14 years and while it has been a crazy paintballing ride in Northumberland, we all know there will always be a time when each one of us has to make the decision to call it quits. Every year I get older and every year I stare that decision right in the face. Who knows what will next year bring? I might have to return to shoot the new 16-year-old kid in the melon but there is always the possibility that I will take all my wins and paintball championship rings and just sit back and say, “I did pretty damn good!”.
