Paintball Hints and Tactics Article!

If you ever thought about being a Bristol coach then here are some tips. The reason it is good to stay unbiased is that there might come a time when your go-to Bristol players are performing sub-par and you will have to pull them from the game. It is hard to drop one of your best but everyone has off days and it is far worse to keep putting the player or squad back in over and over with the hope that they will pull themselves out of the paintballing slump. You always have to know who is playing at their best because even if there are set squads, it might be necessary to rotate them, to mix the players who are playing the best at that point. Sometimes you might mix the squads just to confuse the other Bristol team. They might have been watching you play your other  paintball matches and know that when squad A is in, one player will go to the snake and other will run short, etc. if you mix it up, it might catch them off guard and keep them guessing. So, you’ve been at all the practices and watched all the Bristol players closely. You have an idea of who the better Bristol players are and who plays well with whom. You now need to pick balanced paintball squads with the correct personnel. In a utopian scenario, everyone would be the best at every aspect of playing paintball. This is what you search for in a team; you want a very versatile group but no matter what you do, there will always be some Bristol players who are better at one thing than the other. Usually, you will have two set squads that are well balanced and the players are comfortable playing with each other. You have your playbook and have done your drills at practice and played other teams to try out the different plays. It’s all perfect, right? Well, we all wish it was that easy.
