Paintball Hints and Tactics Article!

Want some information on equipment and tips on how to use it in Gloucester? Most barrels these days are two-piece. With one-piece barrels, people will argue that longer barrels are more accurate. In a two-piece barrel, the paintball is only guided by the back of the paintball barrel, the length of the tip is strictly cosmetic. Industry standard for barrels is 14”, I sometimes use a 16” because longer barrels allow you to push in an inflatable paintball  bunker to hide more quickly, but id chose a 14” by default. If you are up in the front where you are shooting close to horizontal you want to avoid longer barrels which will decrease your manoeuvrability and expose where you’re shooting from cover. Glocuester has Removable feednecks that come in a variety of sizes from high to low. Force-fed loaders benefit from a small ball stack, other loaders generally work better with a longer stack. Choose a feedneck based on your vertical profile or type of loader. Some feednecks offer tightening systems to keep your loader on when you’re diving around. They generally come as a clam or screw tension system, choose what works best for your setup but make sure it’s tight as there’s nothing worse than diving into your bunker and having your hopper sail another three yards past it. Lastly, you can upgrade other parts of your gun to varying degrees of effect. Performance upgrades can give you greater air efficiency, increased ROF shoot more paintballs, etc. Cosmetic parts can be added to personalise your paintballing gun. Grips, new barrels, regulators and other parts can change the look of your gun instantly. Anodising changes the whole look of your Gloucester gun and can breathe life into an old gun. Many players make hobbies or jobs out of building and restoring old paintball guns in Gloucester, anodising them and customising them in a sort-of pimp my ride fashion.
