Paintball Hints and Tactics Article!

If you want to know how to make the most out of your equipment in Halifax, heres some information that could help. The trigger is your interface with your Gloucester Paintball gun. Virtually all high end guns today are electronic so the trigger is nothing more than a button. Oh, but it isn’t. Trigger adjustments is entirely subjective; everyone has their own diea of what a trigger should feel like. Most triggers can be adjusted for pull before microswitch activation, pull after activation and resistance felt. Microswitches activate over very short distances, thse adjustments allow you to adjust your paintball trigger to rebound off the microswitch and adjust the throw when shooting at glocuester opponents. Resistance is self-explanatory and again is set entirely to your personal preference. Maintenance is crucial in performance. Obviously, you never want to have questionable equipment at a tournament, but having working equipment all the time will keep you in rhythm and on-point. This is an area where many players, myself included, lag the most. At the end of the day its easy to just throw all your paintball equipment back in your gear bad and let your gun rot until you need to use it again in Halifax. Now, you cant treat your baby that way can you? Maintaining your gun means lubing and cleaning it regularly, in addition to replacing any seals or parts that may go bad. Always follow the recommended plan in your instruction manual, at tournaments air techs often offer their services for free or cheap but don’t rely on them or they’ll be having lunch right before a crucial game in the semis. A Good air tech is like a good mechanic or cook, he’s always just a bit better than you and Halifax has some great ones. Treat these people well, they’re there to help and they’re often the difference between winning and losing your paintball game.
