Paintball Hints and Tactics Article!

Playing paintball is amazing fun, if you ever get the chance to get to a professional standard you could end up suffering in Kingston. A psychologist by the name of Herbert Freudenberger coined the term ‘burnout’ way back in 1974 with the book Burnout: The High Cost of High Achievement. His self-definition being, “…the extinction of motivation or incentive, especially where one’s devotion to cause or relationship fails to produce the desired results.” Sound familiar? If you’re lucky, your burnout may only have something to do with your college classes in kingston, your profession, or even that farce of a marriage you’ve got there. These issues are quickly made immaterial though when dealing with the realisation that the love, for you, is out of paintball. Now, we’re not talking about getting tired of doing drills every weekend, because, quite frankly, most people do drills to improve their game, not because they’re fun. I’m talking about how you don’t want to go to practice on Saturday. Anyone who’s played competitively for any extended length of time has had to deal with it at one time or another – the grind of the paintball training, the travelling miles away from Kingston, the aforementioned strained relationships, schedule juggling at work, and drained bank accounts can pile up and leave you a nervous wreck. If you’re feeling this way, then perhaps it’s time you stop and work out the root cause. You may have a full-on supportive spuse, your family may be your biggest fans, and you might even have a cool job that’s OK with you leaving for extra weeks to go play ‘cops and robbers’ with your pals out and some far-flung stadium away from Kingston. You may have all these things, but simply be tired of the interpersonal working of your team. This can come from having friends on the team who are fighting amongst themselves or are working towards getting canned with on-field ineptitude, all made especially inauspicious if you happen to be your team’s  paintball captain.
