Paintball Hints and Tactics Article!

If you are ever lucky enough to become a pro paintballer then here is some advise. Paintball can chew you up if you let it whether your playing in Lincoln or anywhere else. There’s an inherent addictive quality with our sport; it taps into our primal senses with the adrenaline it pulls as it sets off our fight-or-fligh instinct, there’s the excitement and fear of pain, there’s the community and fellowship, there’s the possibility to be a five foot tell, 125 dominant male who can scythe entire armies of opponents with aggressive runs up a tapeline – how can you not get enough? Above that there’s the Lincoln attraction for the chess player in regards to tactics, there are the armchair personnel directors who can give you their all-star and dream teams from the beginning of the NPPL era, and who agonise over their rosters on Greg Hasting’s Tournament Paintball, fine-tuning depending on field and opponent. Just remember to listen to your body when palying in Lincoln. You’ll already know that you don’t want to go to practice, don’t want to answer your team mate’s phone call, don’t want to even look at your gun, but that doesn’t mean you’ll know to actually stop. With the off-season getting shorter and shorter by the year, and with the increasing focus on training for all skills levels, it’s hard to find a break in the action to decompress. Sometimes you just need to take a break and focus on something different for a while, so you can reconnect with that urge to play paintball  Lincoln when you come back. If you’re burnt out it’s because at one point you were in love with this game. Just don’t allow yourself to ruin it for yourself.
