Paintball Hints and Tactics Article!

If you don’t love it, don’t do it. Paintball isn’t a job – it’s a hobby. HK has always stood for one thing – love of the game wherever your playing, oxford or otherwise. Over time the public perception of our team has swung from love to hate and everywhere in between. We never understood it. We are just a bunch of kids trying to have a good time the best way we knew how. I certainly don’t love waking up early, but im sure that once I get up and get to the paintball field ill have a good time. Aside from all my friends mutinying, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad time at an Oxford paintball field, you probably shouldn’t be there. Winning a tournament is a beautiful and sublime thing. For most of us, it only happens a few times in a lifetime. At each tournament there’s only one winner, which means there are hundreds if not thousands of ‘losers’ roaming the streets of Any town, USA on Sunday mulling over mistakes and missteps. If you don’t walk home with the trophy, cash and girls, call it a moral victory. Just because you didn’t win doesn’t mean you lost. It might be cliché, but the only losers are the ones who didn’t try. It takes blood, sweat and tears just to get to a paintball tournament. Just competing takes heart. If you gave it your all, that’s all anyone can ask. After the tournament, sit down and talk about what went wrong and what you need to change. Then, unlike my Oxfordteam, you could go back and practice these things so you don’t make the same mistakes next time.
