Paintball Hints and Tactics Article!

Stop the big move when paintballing at the Redditch site – basically what I mean by stopping the big move is you have a team on their heels and they have nothing to lose, watch for one of their players running down the field and shooting everyone. Top teams today have certain players that are notorious for that. If your team is communicating and you have all your lanes covered you can prevent this. Just make sure all you guys are not shooting one way otherwise your gonna be losing at Redditch. This is getting more and more common as the fields are faster and fiercer. Winning is not anybody’s right – you have to earn it every day you go out! Each day you have to ask yourself “Did I do today all that I can do to be a winner?” I live by that saying! If you decide to take a paintball bunker nearer the centre  of  Redditch and you get so far that your team cant cover you, it is pretty likely that the other team will just come and bunker you out of your key spot. But, if you pick a spot that is just a little closer to your team mates, you can run to the bunker while shooting at one side of the field, with little pressure. This is advantageous to your team because you can take ground on Redditch but still have your gun up off the start. It is also easier to hit someone as you close the gap between yourself and your opponent, which is exactly what you are doing as you run up the field. We use this tactic a lot to shoot guys trying to run the corner, or those on long runs to the 40. You can also shut the other team down, and prevent them from filling their spots on a secondary move to one side of the field. Sounds like a great place to be right? Well, not always…If you don’t get your target guy who is going to the corner, and the other corner makes it is as well, let’s just say it becomes very difficult to live in the centre with all the paintballs raining down on you.
