If you ever find yourself too far up front in the centre when playing at Rochdale without team mate cover you usually end up living behind your gun or making a tactical withdrawal, which means you either pick one side and aim at it and hope you shoot him before he shoots you, or retreat. There is another option I suppose…you can always run through the middle of Rochdale Field as soon as you realise the problem and hope to take a couple bodies with you. Be prepared for a whole ton of welts if you choose the last course of action. The back centre bunker is a staple on any paintball field. It is a good place to start the game and sweet spot any runners. Ok….that is pretty obvious…but it is also a great launching point for a secondary move out to the tape or for a short jump to a closer bunkeron the Rochdale site. From the back centre you can see where the opponents are running to and evaluate whether you can stay an extra few seconds and shoot or if you need to ger your arse in gear and fill your secondary position. Usually if the players all make their spots on the opposing team, you should haul ass and get to your paintball in Rochdale spot before the other team figures out that you are stuck in the centre and keeps you locked there. You have to feel it out and learn from the experience. If you do not happen to shoot the Rochdale players on one side you can move up the middle quickly and get to a paintball bunker up the middle that shuts down that whole side of the field. By that, I mean that since you shot all the players running to one side of the field, their natural reaction is to try to fill that side to prevent you from running down that side of the field.
