Fitness plays a major part in paintballin South London or any other venue. Running in paintball is mostly over short distances, so it is helpful to train for explosive bursts of speed. High resistance weight training for the leg muscles and sprints can improve a player’s ability to attain these short accelerations. Clearly, breaking out of a bunker or from the start box is easier when a player can hit his maximum speed quickly. Kinaesthetic awareness is important in a couple of aspects of paintball. The most obvious is in maintaining a tighter profile behind one’s South London bunker. Knowing where your limbs are without needing to look keeps those limbs from getting shot. Also, being able to keep the spatial relationships of your body and your target fixed makes more accurate snap shooting. Gymnastics, skating, boxing and martial arts all help develop kinaesthetic awareness. The awareness of your body’s orientation will also assist the free agent in coaching himself, as he will know how he is disposed when something happens that bears further examination. When playing paintball in South London Endurance comes in two flavours; cardiovascular and muscle endurance. Cardiovascular endurance, one’s ability to exercise for extended periods without tiring, is important to maintaining skillful play as one moves around the field. A racing heart and gasping lungs don’t make for a very stable shooting platform. Muscular endurance, one’s ability to sustain loads on a muscle group for intervals, also contributes to stability. Playing while leaning at awkward angles or while compressed in a small bunker make muscular endurance key. Cardiovascular endurance is improved with running, swimming, cycling, or other continuous activities that raise the heart rate to 65% of maximum heart rate. Muscular endurance for paintballing can be built through circuit or weight training.
