Here’s a drill to help improve your game you can do this when paintballing in any Stockton on tees site. This one’s easy to do, but hard to do well. Pick a pair of bunkers, any bunkers; they don’t need to be identical – in fact, they ought to be different. Set up in a normally 1-on-1 against a team mate from a Stockton on tees team. But don’t just give up after 10 minutes because your back is aching. Play the whole bunker. Switch hands. Take turns with your training partner or team mate so you’re both playing from advantage to disadvantage, both on your feet and on your knees. Cover every which way that any of the paintball bunkers on the field require you to play. Keep mixing it up. Just like before. Do it again and again and again and then some more. Remember, this is primarily a snap-shooting drill, one or two balls at a time max. You want to pick it up? Good for you buttercup. Close the gap between the bunkers. When the distance is at be-or-be killed range, you better be sharp. Accuracy matters. No hosing! You get one hopper of paint. Can you play an edge with control and precision? Where are you getting hit? (over and over) What does this tell you? Besides the fact you suck, I mean. You got to move! Shoot paintballs and move! You keep coming out of the same spot, you become predictable. Every player in Stockton will know where your coming out Use the whole bunker. Tuck in your elbow. You call that balance? You are wobbling all around like some stupid bobblehead. Settle down and shoot some paintballs; I thought you said you knew how to play paintball. Do this for a minimum of 20 minutes and repeat it until your paint runs out or your fingers bleed. You can’t do this enough.
